My Little Houses

In retail you get used to ordering merchandise in the off season. You order Holiday items in January and Spring items in July. So when I am asked to produce projects for the various magazines I do freelance work for it comes easy. I made these cute little house this past winter for Better Homes and Gardens Holiday Crafts magazine (on news stands through December).

If you are interested in making some of your own little houses the templates appear in the back of the magazine and we are selling the embellishment kits at the store. There is an assortment of vintage and new holiday decorations (glass balls, bottle brush trees, plastic deer, snowmen for example) in the kits. It is priced at $25. Give us a ring if you have questions or would like to order one. The kits will be ready in about 3 weeks.

Hi, Liz!

I was so excited to see that your website actually had something on it (and that you have a blog!) I visited your store about three years ago, and LOVED it. I hear that you usually have loads of Halloween stuff, but have never been able to get back to Savannah around this time of year. Maybe next year I can get some of those goodies from your online shop.

Best of luck with everything!

Hi, Liz--

Thanks for adding me as a link on your blog! I check your blog frequently. I had been waiting and waiting for your website to go up, and when it finally did, I was thrilled! Beautiful job and very fun to look around. Our own site goes live October 1st...can't wait.

Kara from McMaster & Storm has said so many nice things about you and your shop. I would love to meet you sometime. Kara & I will meet for the first time in person at the Country Living fair this weekend.

Best wishes!

I also found your site/shop through the magazine article - I'm madly in love with these houses, and am debating a Halloween/Fall version as we speak. I'm very sad not to have found the article two weeks ago, since I was in Savannah for work. Now, I have to wait till January to visit... Sigh.
