I can hardly contain myself

It’s official, I just signed on with San Francisco based Publisher Chronicle Books to produce my first book!!!!!! Chronicle is my all time favorite publisher. I’m especially excited to have their gifted art directors, graphic designers and editors on my team. Scheduled for release in Fall 2012.

So….if you are a couple looking to hire a very creative planner for your wedding, are getting married before June 2011 and would entertain the possiblity of being featured in my book we should chat.

All of a sudden it seems like I have work everywhere but the truth is many of these projects were photographed months ago, one was over a year ago. Yes, I could have spread them all out over a few posts but I'm so excited to share them with you I decided to just put them all together. If you would like to read the stories just click the image to enlarge.

holiday

If you have been reading my blog for a long time you will know that I'm a big fan of Matthew Mead. In the styling world he is a super star and I was honored to be asked to contribute to his spectacular new magazine Holiday.

I've been anxiously awaiting my issue in the mail and it came today. Matthew included it in a package that held the table top crepe paper Christmas trees I created for the Yule Blog feature. I was so excited to see the magazine I forgot to unpack my trees (if you have a copy they are on page 9, number 11). They are still in my studio and the magazine sits here in my lap with many, many pages marked with post it notes.

There is also a fantastic review on fellow contributor, Debbie Dusenberry's blog.

Holiday with Matthew Mead is sold only via his website.
